About Us

CoRá is a collaborative space for the further development of the social innovation ecosystem in Ireland.

We are aiming to develop a joint blueprint for a Social Innovation Strategy and Action Plan. This will be developed with a collaborative and inclusive approach with the active participation of representatives from public and private sectors, civil society, and academia.

CoRá can have a real and lasting impact, by working to build capacities of key social innovation players across government, academia, industry and civil society, to strengthen and enhance their capacity to act, encouraging cross-sectoral experimentalism, and new collaborative ways of working toward creating social and environmental value.

We aim to support the establishment of Ireland’s first National Competence Centre on Social Innovation (NCCSI).

Funding for the CoRá project comes from both the EU (from the European Social Fund and the Employment and Social Innovation Programme) and the DRCD.
